Digital Leaders
Hello, we are your Year 5 and 6 Digital Leaders. Our names are Joshua, Molly, Jacob and Heidi (Year 5) and Olivia, Reed, Eliyah and Beth (Year 6). Our role around school is to keep people safe online, but not only children- staff as well. We also teach parents how to keep their children safe online. We raise awareness around school on why too much screen time can affect your mental and physical health and what damage it can do. We will help younger students with their computing lessons and read them stories about online safety. We actively talk to students through assemblies about risks and keeping safe. Remember STAY SAFE ONLINE!

Challenge 1
Our first job was to recruit Year 5 Digital Leaders. We made up questions, conducted interviews and decided on four new Digital Leaders to join the current Year 6 ones.
We then prepared and presented an assembly to the whole school reminding them of our role in school. We organised a competition to create an E-safety story or comic to encourage online safety.
We created posters to put up around school to promote us as digital leaders and remind pupils of our role. We also updated our display board in school.
We often go into Key Stage 1 classes and Year 3 to help children log in.
